Substantive Changes
Substantive Change(s) Application for Accredited Programs/Institutions
For all substantive changes, complete the Substantive Change(s) Application linked below. Upon receipt of this application and corresponding substantive change fee(s) payment, the MACTE office will create a submission report within the Accreditation Management Portal for the program to submit all required documentation. Please see application for further instructions.
Applying to be a MACTE Recognized Organization
Eligibility & Process
Montessori organizations which meet the criteria may apply to be a MACTE Recognized Organization (MRO). Once the completed application, affiliation curriculum form, and application fee are submitted, the MACTE staff reviews the documentation, asks clarifying questions if necessary, and informs the applicant of the decision.
Letter Requests
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting Montessori educators and the broader Montessori community, MACTE is pleased to offer verification letters as a free service for graduates of MACTE-accredited programs and institutions. If you need documentation verifying that you completed your training at a MACTE-accredited program, we are happy to provide a verification letter.
