MACTE is supported by annual and accreditation-related fees of its accredited institutions and programs, and affiliated organizations and consortia. The agency recognizes 99 programs (including 20 college/ university programs) which offer a total of 152 certification courses.

| The International Association for Montessori Education (IAME) is an autonomous membership organization composed of Montessori teacher education institutions/programs, as well as teacher education organizations and consortia.
