Eligibility
The accreditation
process is open to any Montessori teacher education institution or
program which meets the Essential Standards and Criteria. Institutions
are eligible for accreditation regardless of their professional
affiliation, organizational form, sources of financial support, or size
of enrollment. Cost to the institution/program includes application
fees and, once accredited status is granted, annual and per-student
fees. Expenses for visits by on-site evaluation teams are paid by the
institution/program.
