This year, Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and Montessori Public Policy Initiative (MPPI) will be collaborating to bring you the 6th Annual Symposium for Montessori Teacher Educators on December 1-2, 2017 in Alexandria, VA.
This event draws Montessori teacher educators from around the world and is an opportunity for program directors, faculty, heads of schools, and national organizations to discuss topics relevant to Montessori teacher education. This year's Symposium will focus on:

Including...
Research already in place.
Implications for Montessori Teacher Education.
How it affects what we do and how it changes our focus.
Using and questioning the findings.
Conducting our own research.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 1st 2017:
7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Registration for Symposium
8:30 AM - 4:00 PM: Opening Day of the Symposium
5:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception
SATURDAY DECEMBER 2nd 2017:
8:30 AM - 4:00 PM: Second Day of Symposium
